Cupcake Carnival.. yum!

I havent been baking much lately but when I came across this blog today, Attempting Creative  and saw the Cupcake carnival going on I thought I'd post some of the cupcake cakes i've done in the past.   Cupcake cakes are so easy, they dont use as much icing, you dont have to worry about icing the sides and instead of cutting the cake you just pull off a cupcake and pass 'em out...Easy!

This was for my nieces little boy Austin,, my great nephew.. he loved it.

I had alot of fun with this one ,, different than anything I had done before.  The birthday girl ate up her not so little smash cake.  It was for my best friends granddaughter.  In hindsight I wished I had done the bottom layer a little thicker though.

And this one was for my nieces other little boy, Rod.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. What a cute idea. I've never thought of making a "cake" out of cupcakes. All of the ones you've done are great.

  3. Hi Debbie,
Thank you for saying "HI" at Cackleberry Cottage. The cupcake cake is so cute. I did a similar theme with a horseshoe shaped pan. It was for my brother's and his son's birthdays. I made part of the road old and rundown and part of it new. (old and young haha) My brother works for the highway dept.
I had an old spool on my patio to keep pot plants on. It has gotten dilapidated, so I put it in my chicken run. They love to sit on it.
    Blessings,
    Lorilee
