Sunday we spent most of the day working on getting our garden ready. We planted tomatoes, cucumbers, red and green bell pepper and hot banana pepper, squash, and okra. Its just a small garden but it'll be nice to watch grow and walk outside and pick some tomatoes ... have you seen the price of vegetables lately?? OMG - at our walmart bell pepper was $1.24 a piece yesterday. We didnt want or need them that bad.
And now for the giveaway .. I meant to have this posted on Saturday but I couldnt figure out what I wanted to giveaway. And then I remembered these dragonflies that Lucy made out of old spindles and spare parts. I knew I wanted to try and make one and as luck would have it I found two old chairs in the "waiting to be burned " pile. They will make a cute dragonfly so Im gonna try my hand at making one (mine will be a little bit smaller than hers) and Ill be giving it away along with one of these prints that I made a few months back. |
So there it is,, my give-it-forward giveaway. One winner will win one homemade dragonfly and one copy of my words to live by print. Would you like to win it?
1. Just leave a comment in the comments section.
2. If you'd like your name in the hat a second time share this on your blog or facebook and let me know in the comments that you did that.
Its that easy. And of course if you'd like to follow my blog that would be great,, but not required.
This giveaway will be open until April 18th and I will announce the winner the next day. Good luck!
Have a good one ..
Ill be linking to these parties ..

I can't imagine undertaking such a large painting project. I sigh over painting a picture frame! It looks great so far & I am super jealous of you getting started on your garden!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you commented over on my blog so I could check yours! Love all your projects going on...and put me in your giveaway drawing, I would love to win!!
ReplyDeleteOh my LOVE that table!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the sweet comments! The curtains were Shabby Chic from Target - They don't have them any more ( these were originally in my bedroom - I had gotten them on clearence very cheap!!!!)
They are however very easy to make as they use small rings in the back of a straight piece of fabric and you can make them as high or low as you need them!
Have an awesome Thursday!!! Patty
